Our next Kingwood Library Art Changeout will be in May. Stay tuned for further details.
Creative Challenge – CRAYONS
Our next Creative Challenge is due in March, and will feature whatever you want to draw, but in Crayon!
Gift to the Church
We would like to show our appreciation to Strawbridge in the form of a special outdoor bench decorated with a mosaic. Each participant would be given a small tile to decorate with a heart in their own design. Our project leaders, Linney Hamilton and Sheila Stoll, will then arrange the tiles on the bench and fix them there permanently. Let us know if you would like to contribute to this gift!
Kingwood Town Center Event
Also coming in March – Kingwood City Limits at Town Center, sponsored by Megaton Brewery. The event will be held on March 28 and will feature music, food, and a variety of booths. We are considering manning a booth there, so we will be very interested in anyone who wants to participate. Let us know at the meeting!
Art Show and Competition
The next Art Show and Competition is planned for Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Kingwood Community Center. This will be our only art show for this season, so get ready to participate! All winners of ribbons from Best of Show and 1st place down to First Honorable Mention will be eligible to enter the Lone Star Art Guild, June 11, 12, & 13 at Lone Star College in Tomball. This will be the first time in quite a while the LSAG has presented a live competition, and we would love to contribute to its success! Further details on the show to follow.
