Our August 2026 General Meeting will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2026

7:00 p.m. Meeting begins
Finish by 8:45 p.m.

Due to construction at the church, we will be meeting in room 207, on the second floor. Enter through the office doors, and take the elevator to the second floor. 207 is the first room you see as you exit the elevator.

August Creative Activity

If you wish to join us, we will be making small mosaics. All supplies will be provided. Bring a box lid or box to place your mosaic for transport.

If you don’t want to make mosaics, bring your own project to work on and enjoy the creative space with fellow artists.

We will also have Show & Tell, Q&A, and we will do some brainstorming regarding our community outreach efforts.

Look Book

Consider adding yourself to our Look Book! With an up-to-date Look Book we can approach potential local display locations to show our work to more people. Write a short artist bio and send 4-5 high-res pictures of your art to sheilabucchinoart@yahoo.com.

New Season starting in September – Dues

This is the last meeting of the year, our new year starts in September.

For this upcoming year, our dues are capped at $40 a year rather than at $50. Also, if the artist is under 18 or if the artist is a current college student under 22 the dues are $10 per year.

We are currently accepting dues for the new year, we take: cash, check and Zelle (lakehoustonart@pm.me).
