An article about Lake Houston Area Artists has been published in the most recent issue of The Tribune!  Below are the instructions to access the piece:
Go to www.ourtribune.com.  In the upper right hand corner you will see a google search.  Type in Lake Houston Area Artist and it will take you to another link.  About half way down the page you will find the article headline, click on it and page 4C will come up.  There is a picture of Dr. Nunnery and her staff.  The article is just great.  We would love to hear from you about it.  Thanks.
Many thanks to all the artists who contributed to this display!  Dr. Nunnery and her staff are delighted with the decor, and displays like this are a great way to get your artwork seen by members of the public.  We expect to be updating the art from time to time, switching out some pieces and hanging new ones.  So watch this space for your next opportunity to show off your great art!

Reminder – Library Art Changeout

We will be changing the art hanging at the Kingwood Public Library on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  Anyone who already has art there needs to come collect it to make space for other artists – or to replace it with other pieces of your own.

Your work should be ready to hang, and you should be prepared to create a label for it with such information as the title of the work, framed dimensions, your name and contact information, and price (although the price will not be shown on the tag).

If you have helped us as a volunteer this season you are eligible to bring samples of your work to be displayed at the library for viewing by (and sale to) the public.  Helping to take down the previous art pieces and to hang the new ones counts as volunteering!  The entire process should not take more than an hour or so.

Just a reminder here that on Thursday, January 3, 2019 we will be hanging more artwork at the office of Dr. Nunnery in Kingwood!  This is the chance for anyone who missed the last display to bring in some of your pieces!  We will be there:

Our New Art Display

LHAA Artists

Our art is now on display at the office of Dr. Nunnery at Kingwood Medical Center.  The doctor and her staff were very excited and helpful as we arranged pieces of artwork in the waiting area and hallways of her office.  There is already interest in purchasing some of our paintings!

The best news is that there is still room for at least 25 more works of art in the office!  We have an appointment to revisit the display on January 3, 2019 with more art.  So if you missed the opportunity to hang your work here, you will have another chance!  Stay tuned for further details about this event!
