May General Meeting – May 16  –   Life Drawing

Tuesday, May 16, Life Drawing Session at Lake Houston Area Artists last meeting til September.
Come join us for an exciting life drawing session with our beautiful model, Sarah. We will start with 3-5 minute gesture drawings of quick poses, followed by longer poses. Bring your drawing supplies of charcoals, pencils, conte crayons, papers, sketch pads, etc. This is a great opportunity to practice drawing from a live model.

Dues for the coming year are now being accepted!

We are collecting dues for the 2017-2018 that will start in September. Dues are $40 for adults, and $10 students who are Highschool and younger. We have a great year coming up, starting with Social Meeting in September which will include Door Prices, Show &Tell (what did you do for the summer?), and a possible art/art supply/art book swap! Please join us for the coming year!

Library Changeout Recap – April 24

Many thanks to the folks who helped change the artwork on display at the Kingwood Public Library.  The new wall looks great!

Any LHAA member can display her/his art at the library.  You only need to have helped us out at some event.  Taking an hour or so to help hang the art counts!
