Lesley is well-known throughout the world as a horse painter, but she loves to paint all subjects, including figures, in all media. A great example, herewith her watercolor painting “The Composer” is a winner in ‘Splash 22’ this year, an ‘Artist’s Magazine’ international competition and publication, due June, 2021. Consistently, Lesley’s work seems to live on the gap between abstract and real, including elements from the subconscious as well as the visual world, evoking emotion and interest in the viewer. During her demonstration for us, she will be painting a subject of her choosing, using some of the ideas and techniques that make her paintings so expressive and unique.
