Here are the poster and the prospectus for our upcoming Spring Art Show and Competition.  The show will be on Saturday, April 27, 2019.  Please print out the poster and distribute it to friends, family, and local businesses.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Artwork Check In:  9:00 am – 10:30 am (entry fee payment cash and check only)

Judging:  11:00 am – 12:30 pm (Judge and Judge support team only)

Public Viewing and Reception:  12:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Judge Introduction, Best of Show Award Presented, Judge Critique and Walk Through:  2:00 pm

Artwork Pick Up/Show Take Down:  3:30 pm

Deadline for Show Entries:  Monday, April 22, 2019

Late Entries Accepted through:  Wednesday, April 24, 2019

All artists MUST pre-register, no walk ins accepted

 

ENTRY FEES (PER ENTRY): (No refunds for entries entered but not received)

LHAA members:  $8.00

LSAG members:  $10.00

School Students:  $2.00

Fall Art Show Reminder

Information, Shows & Competitions October 17, 2018

Our Fall 2018 Show is Fast Approaching!

Just to remind you all, in order to participate in the show you MUST be a current LHAA member.  Per LSAG rules, we will need to update our database to reflect current members only.

If you have not renewed your membership yet for the 2018 – 2019 calendar year, please do so no later than this Friday, October 19th and be sure that the treasurer has your renewal by then.  The database will be updated on Saturday, October 20th.
If you would like to enter the show, please get your entries in ASAP!  The final deadline for show entries is midnight, Wednesday, October 24th.

It’s Show Time

Information, Shows & Competitions April 12, 2018

Reminder to all Members

Spring is here, or it was (what’s with these cold temperatures), and that means that our spring show is rapidly approaching.  Our show is Saturday, April 28th at the Kingwood Community Center.
The last day for entries to be received in the database, no exceptions, is through midnight Wednesday, April 25th.  Payment for the entries is due the day of the show at art work check in, which is Saturday April 28th, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.  Please see the attached prospectus for details on entries and the timeline of the show.
Please see our website for online entry instructions.  It is at:   www.lakehoustonareaartists.com under shows and competitions, then “instructions for registration”.
Also please see the attached poster for the show.  Please forward this to your family and friends and encourage them to come view the show.
If you are a past member and are not a current paid member, you are no longer in the LSAG database and will not be able to access the database.  Please get your membership dues in immediately if you plan to be in the show.
We must receive payment no later than Saturday, April 21st to add you back into the database.  This would apply to any prospective new members as well.
Our next monthly meeting, Tuesday, April 17th would be the perfect opportunity to renew your membership and see a great demo artist!
We are very excited to be in our new location at the Kingwood Community Center and are looking forward to a fun and productive show!
