Our first meeting will take place on September 16, 2014

We will kick off our 2014-2015 season with Show & Tell, our first Creative Challenge for the year and Demonstrations by many of our fellow members including:

Vanita Doyle – Watercolor Pencils
Linda Dumas – Acrylics
Carol Poe – Clay Works

The Creative Challenge for our first meeting is:

“A Page from your Sketchbook” or “What did you do during summer vacation?”

Lori Betz captivated the members of LHAA with her demo, “The Sculptural Process”.  She presented a power point presentation showing the entire foundry lost wax process.  She described the development of maquettes and molds.  She owns her own foundry in the warehouse district in Houston, 2500 Summer St.  You can email her at lori@betzgallery.com.
