Laura Spector will be offering a new Narrative Portrait class this summer, entirely online. Laura has given a couple of art demos at our meetings, and I have taken several classes from her. Narrative Portrait is one of my favorites.

💥 New to online learning? 💥
Zoom has proved to be a significant advancement in many aspects of the my classroom. I’m able to draw directly onto artwork using my Apple Pencil, allowing immediate understanding of changes that can be made in student’s artwork. I am also able to quickly serve up images of work and process as examples. Online teaching offers me more multi-media options to utilize than I’ve ever had at my fingertips in a classroom before. This expedites learning. As a result, I have seen some profound advancements in student’s work across the board (5 courses so far) as a result. While teaching on Zoom is not an apples-to-apples replacement for in-classroom teaching, I find myself truly enjoying both the teaching process.
