Work On Your Art While Discussing Art

This month, in lieu of a demo artist, bring in an art project that you can work on while we have a question-and-answer session about various art topics, such as pricing your art. We can have a show-and-tell segment, too. Show us what you’re working on, and if you want advice on its completion, we can help you out! We can also supply much admiration, appreciation, and encouragement!

December General Meeting

Our December General Meeting will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Strawbridge United Methodist Church at 6:00 p.m. We will be having our annual Scholarship Award Presentation and dinner. This year’s dinner will be a potluck, so we hope everyone will be bringing something delicious! There will be a sign-up sheet at the November meeting, so if you haven’t yet committed to contributing, sign up at the meeting! Particularly appreciated will be desserts and salads.

Library Art Changeout

The art on display at the Kingwood Public Library will be changed out in January. Further details to come. The current wall display has been very popular, and we hope to come up with another eye-catching presentation! As always, all paid members are eligible to show their art with us.

Look Book

We STILL need artists to help us fill out our Look Book! With an up-to-date Look Book we can approach local potential display locations to show our work to more people. Write a short artist bio and send 4-5 high-res pictures of your art to sheilabucchinoart@yahoo.com.

Membership Dues

It’s that time again. Membership dues for 2025/26 are due. You can pay in cash, Paypal (with a small fee), or via Zelle with a QR code (no fee). Dues are $50 for adults, $10 for students.

Our New Creative Challenge is “Native Flora and Fauna” (NO DEAD ANIMALS, please)

Entries will be due at our December meeting on December 16, which will include a potluck dinner and our Scholarship Award celebration.

Studio Time at Kingwood Public Library

The next Studio Time at the library will be on November 24 in the Lower Meeting Room at 5:30 p.m.

Fall 2024 Art Competition Winners

Congratulations to you all!  Also a big thanks to all who came to and participated in the show.  Hopefully a good time was had by all and everyone learned and benefited from the critique and walk through with the judge.
