Each year LHAA awards a scholarship to a deserving art student at Lone Star College – Kingwood. This year’s winner is Hunter Landrum. Extremely talented and versed in many techniques, it was a unanimous decision by the scholarship committee that she should win.
She was presented with the award on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at our Holiday Dinner hosted by Cafe du Bois. It was a wonderful night for everyone!

The Mission of the Lake Houston Area Artists is to encourage artistic development of local professional and amateur artists and cultivate an appreciation of the visual arts through education, exhibition and community outreach.
Our group offers art related opportunities for artists and art enthusiasts around the Lake Houston area, including Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, Huffman, Crosby, Porter, New Caney and others.
